What Moves Us Special - at the RIA Conference

Johannah & Liam attended the Railway Industry Annual Conference in London. We discussed the need for diversity of skills and experience, as well as the challenge for exporters in the uncertain trading settlement. 

We had lovely chats conference attendees as well as RIA's Chief Executive, Darren Caplan, and Managing Director of Fuel, Steve Tolton.

In this episode Liam travelled to Vienna to meet Milda Manomaityte, Founding Director of the Global AirRail Alliance to understand how operators advertise their service offer, and how these short links can support sustainable surface access to airports. We also discuss how airport express services have sought to differentiate their service offer by cultivating relationships with airport operators and seeking to offer enhanced services.

Back after a short break, Johannah & Liam are joined by Deb Carson (rail & public sector professional) to discuss the relationship between access to transport and economic opportunities. We cover rural transport, bus subsidies, major investment & research into the effects of transport access.
